PGRP Instructions

NOTICE 

SKIMS is conducting its next Postgraduate Research Presentation Programme (PGRPP 2020) on March 27-29, 2020. In this regard, all 3rd-year postgraduate students and postdoctoral scholars are invited to submit the abstracts of their thesis work through JMS online submission system by or before the extended deadline, Saturday, 22nd Feb 2020; 4:00 PM

Abstract Guidelines

  • No longer than 300 words and prepared as a structured abstract under the following subheadings: <TITLE>, <AUTHORS>, <DEPARTMENT NAME>, <BACKGROUND>, <OBJECTIVE(S)>, <STUDY DESIGN>, <PARTICIPANTS>, <METHODS>, <RESULTS>, <CONCLUSIONS>,and <IMPLICATIONS>
  • Does not refer directly to the text or references
  • Describe in complete sentences the methods, results, conclusions, and implications
  • Aimed to a general audience with specialized terminology kept to a minimum

How to submit the abstract?

All PGRPP 2020 abstracts should be submitted through JMS online submission system through the following steps:

  1. Access JMS website by typing the following URL http://www.jmsskims.org
  2. Login with the credentials if you are a subscribed user of JMS; New users can create their accounts by clicking on Register Button
  3. Fill in the registration form
  4. An activation mail will be sent to your registered email. Follow the link to activate your account on
  5. Login with the credentials
  6. The first page you see is the “Dashboard”, click on New
  7. Select the Section as PGRPP Abstracts, fill in the submission requirements, save and continue.
  8. Upload the abstract file, save and continue
  9. Enter the title of Abstract, Abstract, add Contributing authors, Keywords, and references (optional). Save and continue.
  10. Click on Finish Submission
  11. Submit a print copy of the online submitted abstract at PGRPP 2020 secretariat (Room 1331)
